DBA Group and NatPower H together for the design of the first hydrogen distribution plant for recreational boating

VILLORBA (Treviso), 22 May 2024 – DBA Group S.p.A., a company listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market of the Italian Stock Exchange and one of the leading companies in Italy in technical consultancy, engineering, project management and ICT solutions for the life cycle management of mission-critical network works and infrastructure, continues its commitment to support energy transition, the country’s digital and ecological company and NatPower H, part of the NatPower Group, the leading global developer of innovative infrastructure for the production, storage and refuelling of green hydrogen for recreational boating, have reached an agreement, through its subsidiary DBA PRO S.p.A., for the supply of engineering services for the design of the first hydrogen distribution plant for marine use in Venice.

Among the top 10 engineering companies in Italy according to the “2023 Report on the Italian architecture, engineering and construction industry” by GUAMARI, DBA Group and NatPower H, which with an investment of 100 million Euros aims to develop and build 100 hydrogen refueling stations for yachting, announce an agreement that provides for the definition of the construction standard of the new hydrogen distribution plant. The architectural concept of the new refuelling station for boats was conceived and designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and will include, among other things, the installation of hydrogen systems in an innovative structure printed using 3D technology. DBA Group will be responsible for the provision of engineering services for the construction standard, fluid dynamics modeling and Fire Safety Engineering analysis; for the first installation in Venice, provided all the services necessary for the realisation of the work in the design and construction phase.
