Boating: NatPower H, together with GEKO-Inocel and Tullio Abbate, successfully completes the world’s first hydrogen refueling on a lake

This announcement highlights a ground-breaking collaboration between NatPower H, GEKO, INOCEL and Tullio Abbate to promote sustainable boating through hydrogen fuel cell technology. The project aims to reduce the environmental impact of recreational boating while maintaining high speed performance. 

A notable achievement of the partnership is the world’s first hydrogen refuelling of the Tullio Abbate Elite 27 H Poseidon on Lake Como. This refuelling marks a significant step towards environmentally friendly marine propulsion, supported by the local authorities and the expertise of Linde Gas.

The Poseidon is a key innovation, with a propulsion system developed by GEKO and an INOCEL fuel cell, demonstrating the potential of hydrogen technology in the maritime industry.
